In the previous post, the three cars that made it to the Top 5 Luxury Cars list were mentioned. The three cars were Infiniti G35, BMW 3-Series and the Mercedes Benz C-Class. Without further ado, I bring you the last two cars that will cap off the Top 5.

The second placer in the list was mentioned as a competitor of the Mercedes Benz C-Class. It is the Cadillac CTS. This car model was designed by Wayne Cherry and made use of a styling which Cadillac calls as “art and science.” This powerful-looking mid-size luxury sport sedan has seen some tweaks and retains its elegant interior. Only two trims are available: 3.6L SFI and 3.6L SIDI. The former trim has a standard engine of a 3.6-liter V6 engine with a horsepower of 263 at 6400 rpm. Its torque is 253 at 3100 rpm. In case you were wondering about the transmission, it is a 6-speed manual overdrive. The latter trim, on one hand, has a 3.6-liter V6 engine under its classy hood. It is able to kick off 304 horsepower at 6400 rpm. It has a torque of 273 at 5200 rpm. This trim makes use of a 6-speed automatic overdrive. The standard features that these trims are equipped with are power seats, CD player, ABS brakes, traction control, and stability control. It can accommodate five people and there leather seats are given as an option for both trims.

The luxury car which triumphantly takes the number one spot is the Acura TL. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. This is one car that maximizes performance in more ways than one. Acura TL fuses technology with traditions. Five trims are offered: 5-Spd AT, 5-Spd AT with Navigation System, Type-S 5-Spd AT, Type-S 6-Spd MT, Type-S 5-Spd AT with Performance Tires, and Type-S 6-Spd MT with Performance Tires. All five trims come standard with a 3.2-liter V6 engine that gives off 258 horsepower at 6200 rpm. The torque for these is 233 at 5000 rpm for 5-Spd AT and 5-Spd AT with Navigation System. As for the rest of the trims, it’s a torque of 256 at 5000 rpm. These trims have seats wrapped in leather and can accommodate up to five people. Everything comes with a Navigation system except for the 5-Spd AT. Safety is reassured with standard airbags (driver, passenger and side), ABS brakes, traction control, and stability control. Performance, style and safety – It’s what the Acura TL is all about. No wonder it took the top spot.
